Hategan defiende en el campus de Sant Cugat de la UIC la Tesis Doctoral: Regeneraci\u00f3n de tejido periodontal \u201cin vitro\u201d con c\u00e9lulas madre pluripotenciales de la pulpa dental (DPPSC) del tercer molar. Este importante y prometodor estudio se ha realizado en el Regenerative Medicine Research Institute.UIC bajo la direcci\u00f3n del Prof. Dr. Maher Atari y de la Dra. Sheyla Montori, la defensa fue el 8 de julio de 2016.
