L’equip d’IFA ha publicat un article científic a la revista indexada European Journal of Pediatric Dentistry amb el títol: “Study of the frequency, localization and morphology of supernumerary teeth in 1960 non-syndromic paediatric patients”. Aquest article segueix la línia d’investigació iniciada amb la Tesi Doctoral del Dr. Eduard Ferrés-Padró, Cap del Servei de Cirurgia Oral i Maxil·lofacial de la Fundació Hospital de Nens de Barcelona.
L’article tracta sobre una patologia de l’erupció dentària: Dents Supernumeraris (pacients que presenten dents extra, un número de dents superior a la fórmula dentària normal).
